Miami restaurant close to the airport

5.30 flight home from Miami. After cases drop off at Miami airport. Nice restaurant recommendation for long lazy lunch please

The Aero Squadron has a very nice lunch, is neither overly expensive nor fancy, and is five minutes by car from the MIA terminal.

I second this recommendation.

 

It is a well known destination and if having one meal in Miami it should be Cuban IMO

 

94th is a chain & with added standard Miami fare but DOES have a nice view of the runways ... and you can get stone crab (in season & if willing to pay $$)

 

eaten there many times .... like it

 

but if from far away ... go Cuban

 

and IN that regard you can get very good Cuban IN the airport

 

La Carreta has several places in the airport. Some are small café and one is full deal. It IS cafeteria style but this is real deal Miami/Cuban food. You will know this from the number of airport workers in line.

There was a 94th Aero at the Memphis airport.

once there were many

 

now just a couple remain
