Astro Flyer Posted February 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2014 At the top of the Cruise Personalizer's Itineray list it shows the number of formal & smart casual nights for any cruise...no formal nights for the Sapphire's 4 day cruises. TM Posted February 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Definitely no formal nights on the Sapphire 3 & 4 day cruises. Most folks just wheeled on and off their smaller luggage. We probably saw a much larger number of passengers using the Horizon Court for dinners than on longer cruises.
Astro Flyer Posted February 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Definitely no formal nights on the Sapphire 3 & 4 day cruises. Most folks just wheeled on and off their smaller luggage. We probably saw a much larger number of passengers using the Horizon Court for dinners than on longer cruises. We had traditional dining at 5:30 in 1 of the 4 Anytime dining rooms (Vivaldi until 7:45). I thought that early AT dining would be popular & based on the lines I saw for 5:30 AT dining many wanted to eat at that time. Those long lines probably resulted in more people dining in the HC. seacruise9 Posted February 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Hi, I did one of these four-night cruises on the Sapphire Princess last month. These cruises are very casual and there are no formal nights. As indicated above, most people pack lightly and carry off their own luggage at the end of the cruise. I liked this ship and enjoyed the cruise. Chuck
Pam in CA Posted February 6, 2014 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2014 As said, no formal nights. Smart casual in the dining rooms. I wouldn't say "very casual" as people were dressed nicely for the most part. There were over 25 "walk off" groups at disembarkation with times to disembark up to 10:30am.
