Looks like the CB made it to back to Houston on time after its delayed start. Hopefully the trend will continue.

Last night I checked to see if they were getting close and then this morning I was happy to see they made it in at a good time. Our turn in 7 days. By this time next week the dog will be dropped off at boarding and we will be on our way down. :cool:

Looking at weather it appears we should see improving weather thru the day today so ideally no delays due to weather heading out today.

Local forecast calling for heavy fog starting late tonight, so as long as we can get out of here on time there shouldnt be any departure delays.

Looks to be off on a great week now. Even see incoming ships headed to Galveston on Marine Traffic. Most of the passenger ships off Gulf Coast end up being oil field crew boats though.

Ya know they have to be glad it was a Saturday not Sunday turn this week. Not that it changes weekly just that fog has ports closed down this morning. Glad they sailed out easily yesterday.

Yeah and to think I almost went on NOTS as an extra cruise this week. At least I could just sit at home until boarding time became more clear and then head down. Oh well these things happen.

The Port of Houston, which closed at 2:25 AM Sunday morning, remains closed almost 23 hours later.

 

Good thing the CB arrived and departed on Saturday.
