Alcohol purchase near Port Everglades

Years ago I purchase wine at a store near the cruise terminal in FL. before we got on the ship. Any suggestions? Have a rental car so we can drive ourselves. Thanks.

Crown Liquor--Cordova Rd. just north of 17th Street; Total Wine and Publix in the Harbor Shops--Cordova Rd. south of 17th Street.

 

Cordova is the street east of the Embassy Suites.

If you are in a hurry you can pre-order on-line with Total Wine and your purchase will be waiting for you at the manager's desk. Great selection! :D

Total Wine has good everyday prices and a great selection.

 

I usually buy at Publix because there is one close to me, but I only buy on sale there...sometimes they have great deals...but their everyday prices on wine are way too high.

We also like Total Wine in FLL.

 

On this trip we pre-ordered online the day before our flight to FL.

 

Our flight Sat was delayed, but we still made it to the store by 8pm to pick up our order. Wouldn't have had time to shop but with the order being all ready we could just grab it and go to our hotel. It looks like even if you order online, if you have to end up cancelling the order, you would be allowed to do that.

One thing to remember if you are sailing on Sunday is that there are no alcohol sales before noon. Pick it up the night before or plan to get to the terminal after the noon hour.

If you arriving on a Sunday, you cannot purchase wine anywhere until after 12:00 p.m. We made this mistake a few weeks ago and missed bringing wine onboard.
