moosenaroundtheship Posted February 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2014 I am booked in E110 and have heard people talk about the wipers from the observation area above getting their balcony wet. How often and when did this happen? Can the people in the observation area see you or are you far enough under it? Thinking about switching to L103 way forward, but not sure how the wind would affect us since we spend a lot of time on our balcony.
dchip Posted February 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) We are booked in E110 too. I hope someone answers. Cheers, Denise Edited February 14, 2014 by dchip
40yearcruiser Posted March 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2016 This is an old post so I'm bumping it up in hopes someone who has cruised in E110 on the Royal Princess can tell me more about it. We chose that cabin because of the size of the balcony so hope we can use it!
Siora7777 Posted August 1, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Did you sail already? Did the wipers from the observation deck drench the balcony E110 a lot? How did it go?

Colo Cruiser Posted August 2, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 2, 2016 What are the wipers??????????????/ A wiper is the most junior rate in the engine room of a ship. The role of a wiper consists of cleaning the engine spaces and machinery, and assisting the engineers as directed.

Just back from three weeks on the Royal where we were in E110 for the first week. At least once a day, while sitting on the balcony, we were "rained" on by who knows what. Since we were under the bridge, it likely was someone/something cleaning the bridge windows.
