I am booked in E110 and have heard people talk about the wipers from the observation area above getting their balcony wet. How often and when did this happen? Can the people in the observation area see you or are you far enough under it?

Thinking about switching to L103 way forward, but not sure how the wind would affect us since we spend a lot of time on our balcony.

This is an old post so I'm bumping it up in hopes someone who has cruised in E110 on the Royal Princess can tell me more about it. We chose that cabin because of the size of the balcony so hope we can use it!

A wiper is the most junior rate in the engine room of a ship. The role of a wiper consists of cleaning the engine spaces and machinery, and assisting the engineers as directed.

We ended up not sailing in E110. We moved up to L104 and loved it!

Just back from three weeks on the Royal where we were in E110 for the first week. At least once a day, while sitting on the balcony, we were "rained" on by who knows what. Since we were under the bridge, it likely was someone/something cleaning the bridge windows.
