Shore Excursion reservations

If I make an online reservation for a shore excursion, and then something comes up - say, someone in our group isn't feeling up to it - what happens? Do we still get charged for it?

You can cancel ahead of time & get a refund (I can't remember the # of hours, for example the day ahead). I don't believe you can tell them at the time of excursion that someone isn't going & get a refund.

Unless you cancel within the approved time (24-48 hours...not sure which!), yes, you will be charged.

 

You can certainly cancel up to a certain point and get your money refunded.

I believe the website shows the cancel period. If my memory serves, you can cancel an excursion up to 3 days before the cruise and get a refund to your credit card. Once you are on board, you can cancel 24 hours in advance and get an onboard credit.

My father developed bronchitis and went to the Dr. onboard. He was allowed to drop an excursion the day of.
