Nana257 Posted February 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2014 The upgrade fairy has sent us to cabin C504 on the Grand Princess. Has anyone ever had that cabin? This is our first time on Princess as we have always cruised on Carnival. Any helpful hints? Thanks. I can't wait!!

I'd be very happy with this upgrade.
Gunner22aa Posted February 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Is what you should be if you love a balcony. You just went from 45 sq ft (9X5) to 81 sq ft (9X9). Your balcony will be half covered and half open. Great upgrade.

skynight Posted February 28, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2014 C504 is one of the best balcony category cabins on the ship.
Nana257 Posted March 1, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Thank you for your answers. I am so excited about our upcoming cruise. This will be our first time on Princess and it sounds like we will be having a wonderful trip. I hope to see a lot of Alaska from our awesome balcony.:)
san diego sue Posted March 1, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Nice upgrade. However, keep in mind your mid ship location. On the Grand, no stairs mid ship (does have elevators). So if you want to use stairs, go forward or aft.
Nancyquilts Posted March 1, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Nice upgrade. However, keep in mind your mid ship location. On the Grand, no stairs mid ship (does have elevators). So if you want to use stairs, go forward or aft. However, there are 6 elevators pretty close, and we found they were never crowded except for just before dinner and when we first arrived in port, as the exit from the ship was often at the bottom of the elevators.
