Looks like they are berthed at the Star Cruises Terminal.

The terminal also houses the Head Office of Star Cruises

They are sharing the docking facilities today with Europa II , who was also in Singapore with them.

Theyare being hosted by Malaysia again, in Penang today

They can now relax as they have 3 days at sea and head in a straight line across the top of the Indian Ocean to Male, in the Maldives.

See that small ship anchored in the photo. At night it is filled with gamblers, it cruises off shore overnight so they can legally gamble all night and then brings them back in the morning.

They are about to dock in Ho Chi Min City (Saigon). Most cruise ships have to dock at Phu My, about 2 hours away , but being a smaller ship it will be interesting to see if they cruise up the river to the actual City.

One of the problems with sailing up the river is the possibility of getting a stray fishing net wrapped around the propellor.:eek:

 

 

I am envious, as when we visited on the same Ocean Princess, we docked at Phu My.

 

I dream of cruising up river to both Saigon and Bangkok.

Just approaching Male in the Maldives...

As you can see from the bridge cam ,the Maldives would not be the place to be , if a tsunami was on the way.
