I discovered those Twilight Zones on the Freedom last year. YUMMM!! :p

If you're feeling a little froggy, ask them to add a shot of coconut rum to it.

Hubby is a Bud Light man.

I love that Funship special on departure day. I just have to have one , or two, for sailaway, but rarely have another one of them for the rest of the week.

My other favorites are Bahama Mama and Goombay Smash, but next cruise I am going to try the Miami Vice, and feel pretty certain that I will have a new one to add to my favorites list.:)

A Dirty Vodka Martini for me and the DW loves the Deal Closer or an Absolut Stress.

Never heard of them. What are they made of? Another vote for Miami Vice, but on our last cruise on Splendor on 2/21, we qualified for "drinks on us" in the casino and since they were free I figure WTH and ordered a mojito and choco martini. Both were PHENOMENAL! :D:p;)

Never had the special on sail out day. Is it anything special or just a special price?

It is a pink fruity drink, which has quite a kick in it (IMO), special for me, but maybe not others, and the price is regular DOD price, around 8 bucks give or take.

And it comes in a special plastic Carnival glass, to keep as a souvenir.

I can't drink alcohol, so my server got me a double fruit punch (the virgin equivalent) for the same price.

Be careful when you get one of the drinks off the tray as you are embarking or touring the ship on the lst day. Many "newbies" don't realize that you have to BUY the drinks, they are not FREE. I have seen so many people take the lst sip and then their face looks like this  when the server asks for their sign and sale card.

BBC and Piña Coladas. DH loves mojitos and Long Island iced teas.

Yeah the Long Island and Mojitos were my favorite last cruise. My wife likes the Pina Coladas and Malibu Bay Breeze.

The Long Island has to be made right though. I had 2 of them that stopped me from ordering any more and I gave them another shot at the Piano Bar and they were great. Some places use way too much sour mix.

Let's see, love the chocolate Mocha Getaway, Tirimisu martini! deal closer! Miami vice, cucumber sunrise! hurricane wave! red remedy! twilight zone, guava margarita! etched. Etc.

About the only drinks I do NOT like are the Punchliner and not that fond of the Funship Special (too sweet).

My guess is in May I will get either a Miami vice or a twilight zone as soon as I board.
