Whats the difference between Category D2 and E1 on Explorer?

Recommended Posts

All D2 balconies apperar to be forward and aft with the E1 are sandwiched in between. The D2 is 15sqft larger. My girlfriend got a touch of seasickness on our first cruise. I'm thinking the E1 may help her situation. Any info on all D and E class balconies is welcome. Thanks in advance

As you've already said, the E1 cabins are a little smaller than the D. We have had E cabins, and D. We never noticed the little difference in room size. If the girlfriend gets a little seasick, I would try to get a cabin as midship as possible. This will help if the seas are choppy for your cruise. The location to me is more important than the little difference in size of the cabin.

The D is a little longer than the E, and the 3 person sofa on the D is replaced with a two person loveseat on the E.
