icat2000 Posted March 28, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) I don't know what I want, I wanted to browse and dream.... Does that mean we can only see the full details once it is released to the general public? I believe so. I think you can get the info from the agent. Sounds really inefficient way of doing business. So I on the phone to Celebrity Australia. And asking about the repo Hon to Sydney 18 nights leaving 2 October 2015. They just put me on hold. I beat the Australian office has no details. Celebrity Australia is a crock. Wouldn't give me the details said it was chartered to Australian TA. Obviously meaning you cannot book with them directly. The_Big_M Posted March 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Yes, unfortunately, there's a rider elsewhere that they're not on the web site yet (I suspect they couldn't easily control the display as to whether you were CC or not). So you have to call Celebrity or a TA with direct access to their booking system. That said, here are the Solstice itineraries for you, and the Millennium ones involving AU ;-) Solstice 22/9/15 10-night Hawaii, Vancouver to Honolulu 2/10/15 18-night Tahitian Treasures, Honolulu to Sydney 21/10/15 12-night South Pacific and Fiji, round-trip out of Sydney 2/11/15, 4/12/15 12-night New Zealand Cruise, Sydney to 14/11/15, 16/12/15 12-night New Zealand Cruise, Auckland to Sydney 26/11/15, 28/12/15, 1/4/16 8-night South Pacific Cruise, round-trip out of Sydney 5/1/16, 2/2/16 12-to-14-night New Zealand, Sydney to Auckland 19/1/16 14-night New Zealand, Auckland to Sydney 14/2/16 18-night Australia & New Zealand, Auckland to Freemantle 3/3/16 17-night Australia’s Top End, Freemantle to Sydney 20/3/16 12-night South Pacific & Fiji, round-trip out of Sydney 26/4/16 10-night Hawaii, Honolulu to Vancouver Millennium 13/3/16 16-night Asia & Australia, Singapore to Sydney 29/3/16 18-night Transpacific, Sydney to Honolulu 15/4/16 11-night Hawaii, Honolulu to Vancouver
icat2000 Posted March 28, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Did call them. They wouldn't give me anything said it was restricted to Travel Agents. I can see the details in my Captain circle. I wanted the actual stops and pricing. Edited March 28, 2014 by icat2000

goodycruising Posted March 28, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Well, that wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be. I guess if you know the price you want to pay, and you have your time from work available that far out you could ring. I just thought you could log on with the Captain's Club and have a good look at it all. Thanks for the info anyhow!
Pacificdaze Posted March 28, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Hi Big M, In your excellent summary you missed Solstice, April 9, 2016 Sydney to Hawaii. In just 2 weeks time we will be enjoying the 2014 Transpacific sail away :) and could be eager to repeat the voyage in 2016.

Based on previous years, I'd expect around the 4.5k mark for the cheapest insides regular price at launch.

happybos Posted March 28, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Not sure how others in Australia are managing to take advantage of the early release opportunities but I am frustrated! Am trying to book the same accessibility cabin on Solstice on her B2B2B repositioning cruises that return her from Seattle to Sydney via Hawaii in September/October 2015. Booked the Alaska cruise leg after the early release date so was able to do that by ringing the Australian booking number. I have three future cruise vouchers which I bought inboard in December especially for this purpose. I am not saying that booking the first leg was an easy process but we got there. I have been waiting for the other two legs to release and they are available for pre release purchase now. The CC number in My Celebrity is an American number so I rang the Australian booking number. After being told by the young man (based in South America) several times that it was not possible to book these cruises as they were not on his computer yet, which would be true, I asked him to speak to someone about how Australians can book through the early release. He put me on hold for quite some time and then returned to me saying he was speaking to his colleague in Australia and put me on hold again. He finally returned to me and said he was still working with his colleague in Australia to make the two bookings and would email me the confirmations. I made sure he had all the relevant details and he ended the call. Of course, I have not received any confirmation emails and the booking numbers do not show up if I try to add them to my cruises on My Celebrity. I now won't be able to ring again until Tuesday, due to work commitments. I know I can wait until the general release but I really want the same accessibility cabin for all three legs. I can't really afford to ring America directly. Sent from my iPad using Forums
icat2000 Posted March 28, 2014 Author #14 Share Posted March 28, 2014 It was exaxtly same poor experience i.had. I posted this on their facebook page. I think probably going to have to call the usa or email a us agent. Have you tried contacting an australian ta.

Rather it left around 23 September. Good luck. I'd say there's a good chance with the RCL Radiance, which usually leaves around that date.
