Obstructed View Balconies

We were in this cabin 11/20-27 and we loved it. It was so nice having a balcony on a lower price tag. It is the first cabin in the DO category so there is only an obstuction to one side. I would definitely book this cabin again. I'm trying to upload a few pictures but it's not letting me. I will keep trying.

Thanks! If you are unable to upload them, can I give you my email to send them to me?

I know this is a pretty old thread but it has helped me out!!

Maybe this picture I found on google will help any other people trying to find out the best spot for a Obstructed Balcony...

I booked 6600... seeing as it will hopefully be the same as previously mentioned 6200, (just opposite ship sides) it seems both sides have lifeboats in the same exact spots. *fingers crossed*

We were on the 13th floor of Anthem of the Seas (room 270) and even though we were told we wouldn't have obstructed views, the deck above us overhangs the balcony so it felt a little bit like we had an awning. Unfortunately (or fortunately) blocked the sun from reaching us when we sat out there.

If you want sun and completely unobstructed views, probably floors 9-11 would be great. Floor 12 you might still get some of the structure holding up the top deck.

On Royal ships Cabins on top passenger decks almost always have an overhang above. It's good to research cabin as a very few many not....

I know that this is a really old thread but does anyone have pictures of the solo balconies on Deck 6.

I am looking for stateroom 6648

Cruisedeckplans and other sites usually have pics/videos - it should be the same on all Q class ships so you can search for any of them.
