Enchantment Of The Seas & Cigars?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone has gone recently and know of any locations inside where you can smoke Cigars?

Thanks! :)

I believe the only area for cigar smoking on Enchantment is the area around the Oasis bar on the pool deck.

Just for reference, there are only two RCI ship classes that have an indoor area for cigar smoking - Voyager class and Freedom class. Both ship classes feature the Connoisseur Lounge on deck 5, which is a dedicated cigar lounge. All other current RCI ships only permit cigar smoking outdoors at designated smoking areas.

Last week I saw people smoking cigars on deck 5, starboard and behind the Oasis pool bar, deck 9. There is a covered area there but it is not inside (meaning, it can still be windy in that area). I never saw anyone smoking a cigar in the casino, which is the only indoor smoking area on the ship.

To add, cigar smoking is not permitted in the casinos - the only indoor cigar venue is the Connoisseur Lounge on Voyager and Freedom class ships as indicated. All cigar smoking locations are outside on all other ships.

Probably why I didn't see anyone smoking them in there then!

Not to get off topic but I thought this very strange - hookah pipes (I think). People were smoking them everywhere! I watched this one guy smoke it in the Windjammer. Huge clouds of smoke in the air. I was shocked. Then I see an attendant going over near him to clear the table and think - "okay, he's going to tell him he can't do that in here" but no. Not a word. I watched people smoking them while walking around the pool deck, too. Why is this allowed?

?? Can't answer as that is something we have never seen on any RCI ship we've been on.

Are you talking about e-cigs or e-hookah? These are not harmful to either the person smoking them or the people around them. They usually smell good with nice fruity flavor. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life but these help people get off cigarettes and I do not see a problem with them smoking them around me.

No, definitely not vapors. This was a cloud of smoke. I know what e-vaps look like. It was a small pipe they were smoking. I wish so bad I would have taken a picture of the guy in the Windjammer. I was just shocked.

And regardless, the policy says that e-cigs cannot be used anywhere a traditional cigarette cannot be used so I was still surprised by what I saw.
