susieatsea Posted April 22, 2014 #101 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Thank you so much for sharing all the pics. We sailed on the FOS April 2013 Eastern route. beshears Posted April 22, 2014 #102 Share Posted April 22, 2014 I am enjoying your review and pictures so far, and I will probably have to see the rest tomorrow, but while viewing the pictures, I had a question. The Dreamworks parade, does it happen every day, once a week (time/times)? The reason I ask, it looks like it gets really crowded , and I want to make sure I can get close to get pictures like you did.

It does get crowded and I believe it is held twice during the cruise but there are characters everywhere and a character breakfast as well that we did not make. We stood right in front of the freestyle coke machines at Sorrentos and had a great view.
Motleu Posted April 23, 2014 Author #104 Share Posted April 23, 2014 More pics including Margartaville! Entrance to Margaritaville - with ship in background! This pic was taken from my barstool That thatched hut across the pool is the swim up bar
Motleu Posted April 23, 2014 Author #105 Share Posted April 23, 2014 The thatched hut in the pic is a private table above the pool - awesome spot but very difficult to come by! The pool is to the right in this pic and it looks out into a "dance area" where they were having a scavenger hunt ala Quest! Aaaahhhh...lots of blended drinks! And ice cold on a very hot day. Motleu Posted April 23, 2014 Author #106 Share Posted April 23, 2014 And they have some nice couches in the front area of the bar - by the way there are 2 bars. Once right when you enter the place and the one in the back by the pool The giant margarita glass is the hot tub!

beshears Posted April 23, 2014 #114 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Is the Craft Market the only place where you can purchase Falmouth items, or are there any other craft booths, shantys anywhere else?
IrishLassie Posted April 23, 2014 #115 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Loving your review & your pics are great! :D The port at Falmouth looks really nice now that they have it all finished. We were there when they were still building. Can anyone use the pool at Margaritaville? It wasn't even started when we were there. Thanks again for taking the time to do this review. :)

jules815 Posted April 23, 2014 #118 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Great review and pictures! Very excited to be sailing on FOS in September. Question about Labadee. I've been there once before in 2007, pre- renovations. Has there always been a pier in Labadee? We were there on Mariner and I thought we tendered over. I know we for sure tendered in Coco Cay. We haven't been there in a while either!

Thanks again for taking the time to do this review. :) The pool is open to anyone. I don't think you even need to eat at the restaurant. I just walked in and grabbed a lounge chair for awhile until I got too hot then found a bar stool. I guess it is first come first served as to availability although there were always lounge chairs available and I was there for awhile!;)
Motleu Posted April 23, 2014 Author #123 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Is the Craft Market the only place where you can purchase Falmouth items, or are there any other craft booths, shantys anywhere else? There are a few other places there to buy items. They have the same format everywhere. Tshirts, ceramic stuff, glassware, etc.

On the ceiling the fake woman diving through the pool and coming out of the ceiling. She is missing.
