Try this site (there are only a few Alaska sites listed):

Timeanddate.com

So for example:

Anchorage

Aug 28, 2014 Sunrise:6:42 AM Sunset:9:18 PM Length of day:14h 36m 03s

Here's another site with more city options:

www.alaska.org

Juneau

Aug 28 Sunrise:5:50 AM Sunset: 8:05 PM

And another site, this one makes a calendar:

www.sunrisesunset.com

Juneau

Aug 28

Sunrise: 5:46am

Sunset: 8:10pm

In Fairbanks in mid-June into early July folks can read newspapers without any artificial light at midnight. One of our summer solstice events is the Midnight Sun Baseball game in which our local Gold Panners play a visiting team -- the game is played without any artificial light and starts at 10:30 PM. The game pauses at midnight as we all stand and sing our state anthem. It is a little unclear how long this game has been played but the tradition seems to have been started around 1910 or so as a Solstice event between local teams.

Yes you are reading that correctly. The farther north you go in the summer, the longer the daylight hours too. So daylight will be longer in Juneau than in Ketichan on the same day.

If you have a window or balcony bring clothespins to keep the drapes shut tight! :D

One summer years ago we drove to Alaska with our family and our dog. The dog had the hardest time getting use to such long daylight hours...LOL!

We just did the Alaska cruise last September 10th-17th and it was dark by around 8:00. We've also been the end of June before and it didn't get dark until after 11:00.

June 21, 2014 is the summer equinox. From now until June 21st, daylight will get longer. Then on June 21st the days will start to get shorter again.
