What papers do I need to show @ the Pier?

All of them. I don't mean to be smart, I just print and staple all the edocs and they rip off the one they need. I think the first page. Security also looks at the papers at the terminal door before you go through xray. The other pages have your reservations you've prebooked and your contract. Always good to have with you. Bring your passport too! :)

The bare minimum? Your passport. One cruise I had a problem printing my eDocs the night before and showed up at the pier without them. I showed them my receipt from the TA and a passport and they took care of the rest.

But bring all the pages you printed as part of your eDocs. The first page or two is your "ticket" and what they'll ask you about, but you might need the other stuff too.

The only thing you truly can't cruise without is your passport.

One of the pages you printed off says "cruise ticket" on the upper right corner. You need those and your photo IDs/birth certificates if that is what you are using. If not, just your passport and cruise tickets.

Got it! Cruise Ticket, Passports & credit card easily accessible! This is what I needed to know.

I will have everything with me but I'm a minimalist. No sense in carrying 10 pieces of paper if I only need 1!

Just SOMETHING that shows you have a cruise. In all reality, you could show up without it and they will deal with it. To get past the rent a cop, you just need some piece of paper, even if you made it up.

When you get to the counter, they want to see your papers. Again, they will deal with it if you have nothing. In the end, what is in the computer is what matters.

I have never even had them ask for much of anything except your passport, yes, a CC and usually someone will want to see the first page of the edocs. You need absolutely nothing else. I am sure I have a method that others use as well. We use a folder and I start with the first page being what I will need first, like my airline ticket or hotel ticket, whichever comes first. Then the second thing, etc. As we pass that stage of our vacation I throw away the paper I no longer use. It works great and I have whatever we need right on top. Have a great cruise. We leave Sunday as well.

good suggestion to have a pen. You will fill out a brief medical form when you enter the terminal.

You must fill out said form while walking as you juggle a purse, carry on, cruise docs and passport, else you lose your place in line. Answer "No" to every question or you will not board, OR go straight to quarantine!

How about "answer truthfully"... I don't want your bug that you lied about.

Yep. This. If you have a GI disorder, stay off the ship

Yes, you are right, and luckily I've never been sick when boarding, but I've often wondered how many people who have just spent $3,000 plus airfare and bought no trip coverage would answer truthfully.

Not as many as should. Our last NCL we had a noro outbreak. I wish they could find patient 0 in these cases and ban them permanently.

Has anyone heard of someone not being allowed to board because of something that was on the medical form? I can't remember what it asks.

I believe it asks specifically about vomiting and diarrhea in some recent time frame. I don't recall the other questions. I've never heard of anyone being refused boarding because they had a "yes" response. My guess is that you might be escorted to medical on the ship to be checked out and might be placed under a precautionary quarantine, although I'm sure they would have every right to remove you from the ship or refuse boarding if they felt it was warranted.
