Mix Lemonaide or Ice Tea with??

Since the lemonade and ice tea is plentiful for mix.......

 

What do you buy or smuggle on to mix with it?

 

No 'high maintenance / fancy' drinks please....I am not wired that way:rolleyes:

 

Looking for something real thirst quenching and tasty...but not too sweet..

We always bring Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka to mix with the lemonade. Yummy and easy!

unc1acc - As an NCSU graduate I can tell you that we have used rum runner flasks for our Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka on multiple cruises.

Vodka or Rum, any kind you prefer or choose to buy. The passion/guava juice they serve at breakfast is really good as a mixer with either also.

Funny you should ask...on recent Sunshine cruise...I mighta had some Jack Daniels laying about that I decided to mix with the lemonade and iced tea squeezed in lemon or lime....my own "version" of Lynchburg Lemonade...wasn't that bad for a spur of the moment mix..that lasted the rest of the cruise.

 

Done the same. Even Southern Comfort is good, little sweeter plus on those chilly mornings mix it with hot chocolate.

Sweet tea vodka & lemonade - another vote for The John Daly. :D It is goooooooood!

If you get caught trying to bring alcohol on board a cruise ship, they will confiscate it and you will be forced to row at least 12 hours on each day of the cruise. Just hope that you do not have a captain that likes to water ski.

I like Malibu Sunshine Rum with lemonade. I'm sure it would be good with iced tea too. It's probably not available everywhere but if you can get it, it's worth a try.

And theres a new Marilyn Monroe Strawberry Vodka that would be great with some real lemonade.

 

And for you Grey Goose drinkers out there, have you ever tried Svedka Vodka. I own 2 liquor stores and my hubby can drink anything he wants and his choice is Svedka. It gets consistent ratings just a point or two below Grey Goose. Now if you are shopping at my store I'd rather sell you GG because of the price. But from a consumers stand point I highly suggest Svedka.

 

Of course that would be for use at home NOT to be smuggled on the ship.

At one of the deck parties they had shots in the light up glasses…well, we HAD to get a light up shot glass, but the shot was horrible (no idea what it was, but tasted like pure alcohol, which I don't like)…got a cup of the lemonade, dumped in the shot and problem solved! It was great! :D

I have brought raspberry vodka on and mixed it with the lemonade but as stated before the lemonade is quite sweet so I water it down a little. Or I will order a bottle from bonvoyage and bring on the raspberry mio stuff and make my own raspberry vodka. Yum! Yum!

Last cruise I bought a bottle of coconut rum in Cozumel. They didn't ask me to check it so I took it back to my room. Interesting but I added it to an Arnold Palmer- DH didn't like it but I really did!

+! on the Svedka - we get it in Mass. for 18.99-19.99 1.5L where GG would be twice that

 

I will second on the John Daly, although I'd probably get the soda package for variety

I always mix the lemonade with BV tequila. Cuts the sweetness.

Melon liqueur and lemonade is tasty!

 

That's what the GF brings with her. She brings vodka with her, too.

 

Personally, I find lemonade to be too sweet. Vodka and insweetened tea isn't bad, though.
