Ataraxia Posted April 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2014 Having been granted the status of Pacific member I have been booking trips and dinner tables, and being granted the 5% discount. Suddenly the cruise personaliser does not show the Pacific Tier, and if I order anything the 5% discount is not applied. P & O are looking into this, but has this happened to anyone else? majortom10 Posted April 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) Different parts of my cruise personaliser show me both Baltic and Caribbean and on our last cruise we were Caribbean but they had us as Baltic and we got invited to Baltic Lunch nothing surprises me with P&O. Josy1953 Posted April 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2014 Everytime we book, my cruise personaliser is perfect but my husband's never shows his tier and we have to call our cruise specialist at P&O to ask him to correct for my husband. This has been going on for the last 5 cruises that we have taken, apparently the "system" changes my husband's date of birth by 1 day everytime any thing is applied to his Peninsular club membership and so he then gets a new number which has to be deleted and his original date of birth has to be re-applied to his Portunus Club membership. As an IT systems analyst I cannot understand why they cannot debug their program to prevent this, when I asked they said that it happens to quite a lot of people but as they can manually correct it, it is not an urgent system problem to resolve. Suebiker Posted April 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2014 Hi Yes having done several cruises before with no issues at all. However on our next cruise my loyalty tier was incorrect on the cruise personaliser. It turns out that for some reason my peninsular number had not been recognised when I booked the cruise therefore I had been issued a new number and basically was starting again from scratch!!!! Fortunately it was easily fixed and my old number was re-instated. I then interestingly enough had issues logging in to my cruise personaliser after this issue which was apparently caused by my date of birth being incorrect by 1 day!!!! Again easily fixed. I'm really glad I phoned and sorted it out before we sail as the phone operator said it is a nightmare to sort out once onboard and causes all sorts of issues. Anyway good luck hope you get it sorted. Sue

middy Posted April 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2014 This happened to me a couple of cruises ago, as with josy1953's husband they had managed to change my birthday by one day. This was easily sorted wih a quick phonecall.
