Cruising is Paradise Posted April 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2014 So i will be going on my first Disney cruise in a few months and I'm curious to see what everyone's favorite foods are. What is the one thing (or more than one) that you most absolutely have to have on a Disney cruise? I cant wait for everyone's answers. DahliaRW Posted April 28, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 28, 2014 The Banana Creme Brulee was fantastic. I also loved the apple cinnamon sundae thing, I had it gf, but I think the gluten version comes with a churro which would only make it better! My dh loved the chocolate lava cake (I couldn't eat it sadly). Um, yeah, we like desserts...

TwinPrincessMermaids Posted April 28, 2014 #13 Share Posted April 28, 2014 I agree, the scrambled eggs on the buffet were so good, we actually went up to deck and brought them TO the dining room. They were DELISH. Also, I ate two of the asparagus soups from EG (on Fantasy and Dream), and enjoyed all the seafood like the scallops and escargot. Also there was a goat cheese salad, always a favorite. Lots of favorites. I enjoyed the dining a lot and hoping to again in a week!

EmptyCanvas91 Posted April 29, 2014 #16 Share Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) Pineapple stack for breakfast in the main dining room. French toast and pineapple stacked with strawberry drizzle. Yum. Morin' Tug boat also MDR for breakfast. Tiramisu from wherever I can get it. Any duck dish. Ginger teriyaki dusted angus beef tenderloin with wasabi mashed potatoes in Animator's Palate. Any fruit soup on any menu. Didn't think I would like it but loved all of them. Especially the strawberry soup I had for lunch in MDR once. Jack Sparrow BBQ Beef Ribs. And the Buccaneer's Sun ripened Pineapple. From Pirates night menu. Palo brunch adult only extra up charge but worth it. rj2ktoy Posted April 29, 2014 #17 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Wow, lots to say here but I'll narrow it down a bit. I thought there were a lot of really good items served in the MDRs.... Chateaubriand was AMAZING! My most memorable meal. Escargot...ordered one, it was so good, I had seconds! Scallops Roasted Chicken Potato Leek Soup Chocolate Lava Cake Any of the sundaes And, of course, the Mickey Bars! They're not on any menu but you can order them any time!
