RumpunchGirl Posted April 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2014 I read some where that there are coffee makers and tea kettles in JS cabins on Rhapsody. Just wondering if this is true. How do you bring your soda/water on board? In your carry-on bag or do you check it with the other luggage? On a Norwegian cruise we were able to tape up our 2 12 packs of soda, put a room tag on it and send it with the porters. Also, anyone have pictures of the Rhapsody's JS #8596? Thanks, Teri

leaveitallbehind Posted April 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Soda and water are items indicated by RCI as not able to be brought on board. However, at least with water, this does not seem to be enforced too much and many people report bringing water on board as tagged luggage. Not sure the success with soda, however. cb at sea Posted April 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Your "carry ons" should not be given to anyone....that's where anything of value should be...you don't want it out of your possession. Nothing of any value (jewelry, meds, cameras, etc...) should be in checked bags...ever!

The OP is asking about bringing on soda and water - not sure that is a valuable item that should be kept in a carry on and with you at all times.
RumpunchGirl Posted May 2, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Your "carry ons" should not be given to anyone....that's where anything of value should be...you don't want it out of your possession. Nothing of any value (jewelry, meds, cameras, etc...) should be in checked bags...ever! I guess I could have said it more clearly. I meant, should I pack soda/ water in a carry on and bring it with when I board the ship or should I put the soda/water with my checked bags. Perhaps attaching a luggage/room tag to a 12 pack of soda. I would never leave my valuables unattended. TGIF!!!!!:D
