Navigator nightlife

Recommended Posts

I was just inquiring about the nightlife on the Navigator. On the RC site, it states that there are 16 bars, clubs, and lounges. Does anyone know what exactly is on the ship? Any themed ones? 21 and up dance clubs? I was just curious as to what there would be to do later at night.

Thanks!

I believe they moved the night club function up to Viking Crown after the dry dock. That is usually 18 and over.

There is generally 1 nightclub with dancing...and another might have a solo act, for your listening pleasure. The other "bars" are strictly bars/lounges. How active a nightlife there will be will depend on the passenger mix...

There will be a 70's night that starts on the Promenade Deck and as stated above the Night Club has been relocated in the Viking Crown Lounge.

Have a great cruise!!!

Just got off the boat yesterday. One club, Viking Crown. Has a great view, but that couldn't make up for the bartender, he was a, rhymes with stick. It was busy one night of the week, the rest it shut down early. Needless to say, disappointed, probably because of the passenger mix, which most had AARP cards.

Boleros Lounge, great drinks and bartenders, classic rock band who had one play list.

Vintages wine bar. Awesome wine. Nobody was ever there. Great Tapas on tuesday and thursday.

Sky Bar. Best people watching over the pool. Great drinks and service.

We were looking for more nightlife, didn't find it, so made some money in Casino Royale.

Thank you for your help. My boyfriend and I sail out on May 18th. He is a dj and loves live music and dancing. Hoping that we have a livelier crowd this time around :)

Look for a "Silent Party" one night in the daily schedule. As a DJ, your boyfriend might find this amusing. They do it on Enchantment, but I don't know about Navigator.

What's a silent party? I don't know if he's ever been silent in his life... ;)

It's a disco setup where the dancers all wear wireless headphones, and they can select one of two different music channels. So the couples are dancing (and singing, unfortunately) to two different tunes. Fun to watch.

The 19th Hole was my favorite place on Navigator. Best drinks there as they were never busy and the bar tender was always great.

Yeah, it was....but since the dry dock upgrades, the 19th Hole is gone and replaced with the Diamond Lounge.

Hey, Stone_Lotus...my wife and I both hold AARP cards, but we usually stay up for some nightlife as well!! We're not all in bed by 9:30! :D

We also just got off many great bartenders on ship but Boleros had the best, there were at least 3 or 4 bands there at differnt times, one country, one excellent mexican and others depending on when you were there.

Really? That is depressing. One of my favorite places to relax and enjoy myself.

Just off last week. The Cosmopolitan Club is the dance club on Deck 14. Decent crowd late at night. Sad part about Royal is pool area is generally closed down by 9 or 10 pm. Boleros always seemed to have a pretty lively party going on each night. Bad thing is no more sports bar.

Most activity all week was the 11:00 Absolut Party in the Solarium. Everyone partied out that night (Adults only).

Funny thing was RCL used outside pool area for a teen pool party (had about 8-10 kids and had all the adults packed in the Solarium area. Didn't understand that.
