kenevenpar Posted May 11, 2015 #51 Share Posted May 11, 2015 I have not been to a restaurant locally recently where they offered to seat me with others. I would be horrified :) The retirement home does  Dad refuses; I say it reminds me of a cruise. :D

Rare keesar Posted May 11, 2015 #53 Share Posted May 11, 2015 The last time we were in Aqua on the Silhouette they actually had some "secret" menu items (not on the Blu Menu) that were always available in Blu. This included Shrimp Cocktail, Escargot, French Onion Soup, and Cheesecake, Sending a waiter to the MDR galley is very inefficient since its all the way at the other end of the ship. Hank On our last cruise, there was a card on the table in Blu with additional daily offerings to the menu. They included the items cited above. By the way, the MDR galley is upstairs from Blu. Andym Posted May 12, 2015 #56 Share Posted May 12, 2015 We were upgraded to AQUA but wanted to use the MDR, We like a lot of company. We did like Blu for breakfast though.
Rare ghstudio Posted May 12, 2015 #57 Share Posted May 12, 2015 We have never had difficulty talking with the folks at the next table in Blu...other than the occasional language barrier. If they don't want to talk (and that's happened), my wife and I can manage to talk to each other... Add to the list of "always available" but not on the menu...caesar salad (with or without anchovies) and for breakfast, corned beef hash.
