Haven Spa Suite Booked!

I'm taking my girlfriend on her first cruise in August. We are taking the Breakaway to Bermuda! We started with booking a guarantee balcony, then went to a bump out, then an aft... And finally just upgraded to a Haven Spa Suite! It's my first time in a suite on any cruise line and her first cruise overall. Should we be psyched? I literally can't wait! Anyone stay in one of these? I'd love for your feedback!

Thanks!

Also, we decided not to book the UDP as we hear the Haven Restaurant is phenomenal. Lastly, through promotions, we have $500 of onboard credit so that should help the fun!

Not to hijack the OP - but question for those of you that just got off the Breakaway (Oradellian and TracyE) how were the balconies in your Spa Suites? Was it windy out there while sailing to/from Bermuda? Did you like the location of these cabins? We're booked in one also - sailing the end of the month. So any other info that you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

You will be spoiled having a butler and enjoying the Haven. Hopefully you will be able to continue to sail in this manor in the future, because "regular" cruising does not compare. The Haven restaurant is great, but the menu does not change, so you may get board and want to dine in a specialty restaurant. Still, it probably makes sense to just pay for the few times you may want to do that instead of getting the UDP because you will want to eat at least some of the entrees the Haven offers.

I'll be getting off the BA on 8/31 lol. The cabin was in a great location. Close to the stairs and easy to get to the Haven courtyard. Pics of the cabin are small bc I uploaded from my iPad.

I like the forward, port side because it feels natural, like driving a giant car. 14132 is close to the stairs and elevators, a big plus. Deck 15 is the Mandara Spa, 16 is the Haven restaurant / pool, and 17 is the Haven private deck, very much appreciated.

The balconies are narrow, only about 36 inches. There are 2 standard chairs and a small table suitable for cocktails.

Wind can be a problem if the ship is sailing into rather than with the wind. Hard to predict in advance. We tended to use the balcony when in port.

I returned from the Getaway on May 10. We were in Haven Spa suite 14728 and my mom & sister were in 14130. The suites (at least on Getaway) on starboard side had 2 chairs and table in suite, while port side suites had a small "fainting" couch and table. There was also a large pole in front of the Jacuzzi in 14130, but we did not have that in our suite. I have heard that the Breakaway is identical, so I will attach my pictures. You will absolutely love this room and the amenities that come with it (Haven and Spa). We used the spa several times, and it was never really that busy. The Haven sundecks were awesome, and a great way to avoid the craziness of the main decks.

Hi. I am going on the Getaway in Aug in a Haven Spa Suite, which do you think is better, the 2 chairs or a couch? I am currently booked on the port side, but I could switch it.

Hi there. We are booked in this cabin in February. We were a bit concerned about noise from across the hall. It looks like it might be a storage/work area for the cabin stewards. Was it a quiet location?

I liked our room better only because the room didn't have the pole in front of jacuzzi (seemed larger somehow). I'm not sure it really matters whether you have a couch or the 2 chairs though, both seemed nice. In St. Thomas starboard side was facing pier, the other 2 ports, we backed in so port side was facing pier. It is all what appeals to you. They are nice suites.
