I will be trying FTTF on our next cruise. I bought it not for the cabin and express luggage, but for the guest service lines. After waiting over 30 minutes on line on one cruise, I wouldn't want to have to do it again. :)

Anyone use FTTF recently on the Splendor out of NYC? The last time we sailed (June 2013) it wasn't available. We usually get to the port early, but I carry my luggage on so I want that room ready :)

I'm curious what others have experienced at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal with FTTF.

I personally would save my money.if your at the port early you will be on having lunch by 11:45 without FTTF. On Breeze all cabins were read at 12:30....never had a problem getting on a tender without especially if you have a excursion booked with carnival and have never needed to go to guest service when the line was long. If you need to get off the ship early you can go down to GS and get an earlier number for your luggage. I think people make more of it then it's worth but this us my opinion. I vote save your money.

If all the rooms were ready on the ship then previous cruise was about half full either that or they didn't clean the rooms very well. Expecting that to happen for every cruise is like expecting to hit a jackpot for every pull of the slot handle.;)

Have used it the last cruises and LOVE it! Just the time it saves me at guest services it worth it! But I like having my room ready and my suitcases delivered quicker - I'm usually unpacked by noon!

We had it last cruise and loved it - worth every penny to us!

We have never been through the check in lines and on the ship in less than about 45 minutes before this. Arrive early, arrive late - didn't seem to matter. Standing for long periods of time is hard on my knees and back, not to mention hauling carryons and children around trying to make sure they don't lose their stuff.

Would have done without it this trip, but DH liked it so much last time that he really felt the $100 (2 cabins) was well worth it just in case.

You could line up 100 different people, each with $50.00 dollars in their pocket, and ask them what non-essential thing they would spend it on on a cruise. You'd get a variety of answers, and no single answer would be right for everyone. Whether someone chooses to spend their $50.00 on FTTF, or in the casino, or whatever, that's their choice. It really makes no difference to me, and it shouldn't matter to anyone else.

I don't think it really matters how they choose to send their money, I can care less. I gave them my opinion on why I feel the perks are not really worth the cost. Too each his own....period!

Don't get you panties in a knot my friend!

To the OP someone listed what you get with the FTTF and as another mentioned it simply depends of if the perks are what your looking for. Myself and others gave our opinion of why or why not we feel it's it's worth the cost, I don't believe anyone was telling you how you should spend your money.

Just like those who buy insurance some won't travel without it some don't bother.....It's what's important to you and what's going to enhance your trip.

I used FTTF last week in New Orleans for the Dream. I personally think it was worth every penny. We got to the check in line at 10:45 and were onboard and placing our carry on luggage in the cabin at a few minutes after 11:00. We had no tender ports but it really came in handy on the last night when needing to visit guest services just to return a book from the library. There were 25+ people in the regular line but only 1 person to wait for in the FTTF/Platinum/Diamond line. We also automatically received Zone 2 luggage tags. Zones 1 & 2 were called at 8:00 and we were in the car pulling out of the garage at 8:30. I will be purchasing it again in the future.

If you notice almost "Every" person on all FTTF threads who said that they have bought it have said "ITs Well Worth IT" even Platinum/Diamond and Suite guests who already get most of it for free!

A small few have not been totally happy with it, but guess what! They went to Guest Services, complained and got a full refund:D

Almost all cruisers want to be first in line and now you can pay a small price for it as a guarantee:)

Worth every penny for the first time cruiser to the experienced cruiser;)

Well done Carnival:)

How do you find out how many FTTF's are available for your cruise. For my booking it is available, but I need 3 more for my kids cabins. Before I start booking I'd like to know if we could all get it.

Yes yes yes ! We have sailed over 20 times always get there early and are usually boarding by noon. But last cruise I finally saw post about FTTF and said why not so I watched and watched till I was able to get us one. Best decision ever, our ship was delayed because of fog docked around 3pm and we got on around 6pm then watched as people were still getting on at 10:30pm after sitting 8 hrs in the terminal waiting to board. When we got back same thing fog it was almost 5pm before we docked getting off in the first group was a blessing when you have a drive after to get home for work the next day.

When you click "add to your cart" it will tell you how many are available. And remember, only one per cabin is needed. It will cover everyone in the cabin.

You're quite welcome. It was reading someone elses thread on FTTF that made me check again (I'd stopped for a week) so no problem.

Don't know when your cruise is but I'd get the ones I can and it it was not enough I'd keep trying. You can always cancel them if you don't get enough of them.
