Rare ontheweb Posted May 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2014 I remember when booking Carnival excursions last summer that the Carnival website had passenger reviews of the excursions available. Is there something similar for Princess?
capriccio Posted May 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2014 I remember when booking Carnival excursions last summer that the Carnival website had passenger reviews of the excursions available. Is there something similar for Princess? I've never seen one. I just ask here if I'm interested in a specific excursion. Chances are someone has taken it and others can also recommend alternatives! Snow cat Posted May 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2014 The best way I've found is to go to the port thread you are interested in and "search" in that thread using a few words from the excursion. I also google the name "+ review" and I usually get all the cruise critic threads plus trip advisor and other info. You should have no problem digging up intel. alamojo Posted May 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2014 There are reviews for many of them on Trip Advisor.

Rare ontheweb Posted May 21, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted May 21, 2014 I can't imagine a cruise line wanting to post bad reviews of ex ursion Actually they do, though they did not post the bad review I posted. They did post the good one. The bad one was of an excursion that I settled for while on board after the one I pre-booked was cancelled (according to them because the tour company was no longer acceptable). I wrote a mostly negative review, and commented harshly on the cancellation. Instead of receiving a confirmation that my review was posted, I received a notice that it "did not meet their standards". The positive review that I wrote was of the Bob Marley bus tour. I had read the previous reviews. They were overwhelmingly positive, though there were some that were very negative. So, Carnival actually does post negative reviews.
