Coral or Island Princess

We sailed the Island and I really enjoyed the ship. While I do like the IC, to me not that big of a deal. We were lucky to be assigned a cabin near midship/card room/library! Just a few floors from early morning fresh coffee.

Just off the Coral and have to say, we loved the crew. We've cruised a lot and the crew on the Coral was one of the friendliest, all around happiest crew we've seen in years. They seemed like a "big Family" and genuinely enjoyed being around each other. When the crew makes the passengers feel like part of their family, it doesn't matter if you are on the newest, biggest ship or the smallest, oldest ship. It will be a Great cruise.:)

I've cruised on the Coral twice and the Island once. Both are really nice ships, and are my favorite size with Princess (18 sailings with Princess to date). As to which is best - I'll pick the Coral, but, that is only based on the quality of both prior cruises. It just sneaks past the Island. Bottom line? Pick either and prepare to have a good time!

We preferred the staff on the Island, but that can change in a week. Once the Island gets the IC soon, the only real difference will be the theme of the casino (England vs France).

Pick whichever itinerary and date works best for you and don't worry about the ship.

We've been on both ships a few times each. We like the Island better. I don't know why - I guess it feels a little lighter inside and newer. Not a good description, sorry. The Island doesn't have the IC yet but the Coral does.

LOL! Hear you!

I don't know exactly why either but we do like Island better ... not that we don't also like Coral.
