Got into a verbal tussle this morning during my bike ride-some punk yelling bad things about my clothes. Kids are stupid, but so easy to grind into the dirt. Let's just say his mother, his girlfriend, and his manhood came up in the "discussion". Since then I've been up and down but mostly up. Turning 50 this year and it seems like one of my birthday presents is a very stubborn 8 lbs. This year has gone by quickly!:D I just got back yesterday from a week in Toronto minding my grandcat. Even tho' I put 14 - 18000 steps on my pedometer daily I guess the yummy meals I had out added the extra pound to my weight. I had a large popcorn at the movie theatre on Sunday that took me until Thursday night to finish!:eek: Anyhow, a new month gives us another chance to make a better effort. I'm having major stress with husband and mother's illness's (sp) Somedays wonder how long I can do this. Taking care of them.. doing everything for them, house, bills ect. Till something like this happens you forget all the things your husband did around the house and everything else he did. Now I do everything plus the little things..cut his toenails and fingernails. Small thing but not! I hope none of you have to go thru this..it can happen at any age! Enjoy your love ones now! Hope everyone is having a good weekend and have a good week. Ciao ~ Jo ~ :) I am taking the 4 day Carnival Inspiration out of Long Beach to Catalina/Ensanada on 7/7 and then on 12/28 I am taking my first 7 day. I am going back and forth in my head about how my new lifestyle is going to look on these upcoming cruises. MFP has amazing reviews! It seems like everyone I run into that use it are happy about it.
