I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami several times, nice rooms and right across the street from Bayside mall.

Both the Holiday Inn and the Intercontinental are "Holiday Inn" properties (whatever the overall name is!!)...The Intercontinental is pretty upscale and lovely! Both are within walking distance from Bayside Marketplace (with shops, restaurants, etc...) and both have a view of port!
