abfallas Posted June 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Hi! Long time reader, first time poster! I'm going on a DCL 5-night Med cruise with my mom and son (4) and we are planning on hanging out in Villefranche. I'd like to make this a "laid-back" day as we will be busy in Rome. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to do/see in Villefranche? Any good restaurants? Bakery? Thanks in advance!!

Going Coastal Posted June 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2014 This is one of our favorite ports. It is great to stroll the winding streets with unique little shops and have lunch at one of the waterfront cafes. Enjoy! helpthejuggler Posted June 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2014 A really nice town to have a relaxed day. The beach is visible from the tender stop just 10 mins walk away should you fancy a change of pace. There are many bars, shops and places to eat at and enjoy. Alohaaloha Posted June 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2014 Our favourite port! Quaint little streets, a small open air market not far from the dock, and lovely harbour bars and cafes line the streets. The sea is beautiful to take a dip in, although the beach is pebble and can be a little hard on the feet. A lovely little town, very relaxing in itself. Langley Cruisers Posted June 17, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 17, 2014 An enjoyable day in this port, very walkable. Be sure to buy some perfumed French soaps! :)
