Villefranche

Hi! Long time reader, first time poster!

 

I'm going on a DCL 5-night Med cruise with my mom and son (4) and we are planning on hanging out in Villefranche. I'd like to make this a "laid-back" day as we will be busy in Rome. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to do/see in Villefranche? Any good restaurants? Bakery?

[Going Coastal]

This is one of our favorite ports. It is great to stroll the winding streets with unique little shops and have lunch at one of the waterfront cafes. Enjoy!

A really nice town to have a relaxed day.

The beach is visible from the tender stop just 10 mins walk away should you fancy a change of pace.

 

There are many bars, shops and places to eat at and enjoy.

Our favourite port! Quaint little streets, a small open air market not far from the dock, and lovely harbour bars and cafes line the streets.

The sea is beautiful to take a dip in, although the beach is pebble and can be a little hard on the feet. A lovely little town, very relaxing in itself.

An enjoyable day in this port, very walkable. Be sure to buy some perfumed French soaps! :)
