Starting back up the tour heading to the forward elevator lobby...

Don't trip down the stairs to

Stepping to the port side of the ship and heading aft, we approach

The On Air Club. Karaoke. And more World Cup - inside and out (note the screens outside are playing the World Cup, too)

One must look down to also appreciate the detail of the RP

And we approach more... grrrr... shops. At least these have stuff I'm interested in.

The first is the RCL memorabilia / propaganda store. We purchase a Christmas shrub decoration of each ship we sail on (usually). DON'T wait until the last day or you'll be fighting the crowds.

Next door is Solera. Fancy smelling stuff...

One of the places I TRULY like to shop at is Port Merchants! You guess why. (Can you peek inside and see a couple clues?)

Next we encounter a neat watering hole - The Bow & Stern. I have never found the time to have a beverage here despite 3 voyages on the Oasis class ships!

In case you forget which way to go... Note the sphere above the bar. Neat stuff happens to it at night.

The same goes for spending time in the Cupcake Cupboard. I really wanted Linda and I to do a decorating class together but just durn ran out of time.

This demonstrates the flexibility of the space with a stage on top of the cupboard.

Alas, I cannot locate a photo of one of the best snack venues on the ship (and the bar that opens the earliest), the Cafe Promenade.

I did manage to capture a pic of the yummy goodness they have here. This is THE place to go for a quick snack or a yummy cookie (or early AM adult beverage)

A standard - Guest Services. My card somehow deactivated so they were able to get me a replacement even WITH a new Ultimate Package sticker. Keep those beverages coming, Lynn!

Above, we see the Schooner Bar. Fun singalong there one evening.

In front of Guest Services is this cutie...

Our next stop is Regalia. REALLY fancy stuff in there. Too nervous to even go in! I might break something - like my wallet.

I'm saddened not to have captured a good enough pic of the Mercedes or the Rising Tide Bar, but who hasn't seen enough pictures of those on the reviews? (Check out Gambee's!)

So, I dip into my archives and pull this pic of very attractive people actually on the Rising Tide one evening (Cameron is our oldest son who didn't travel with us this year).

Moving toward the aft elevator lobby, we capture some detail of the installation here titled "Dream of Utopia"

(Not sure whose "Utopia" this is... Maybe if there were some Speedos... ;) )

awww nuts you ruined a fantastic review!!!! (well just me but the DW loved it!!!!)

Eh, I think the pics make the review better.

Ah that was kind of you. But those were some fun times. Loving all of the pictures.

Thanks so much! Hope you're getting better. :(

Back to our previously scheduled program of today's events. After dinner in the MDR, tonight's show is Ocean Aria. I was looking forward to this show so I could compare to her sister show, Oasis of Dreams.

The "stage" is set

I liked seeing the moon peeking out

A show isn't a show without good friends and family to enjoy it (no glass railing THIS time!)

Even Freddy is ready.

My poor camera couldn't keep up with the high diver, but here are a few shots

After the show, it's time to reset for the next.

I can't put my finger on it, but I prefer Ocean Aria to Oasis of Dreams. Can't wait to see it again.
