cruiseerf Posted June 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2014 Hello: It will be our first time on the Oceania Marina. We are past Silversea and Seabourn cruisers and we enjoyed the DVD player in some of those rooms as we bring along movies and tv shows that we had been meaning to watch. We will be in a PH cabin on Marina......are the TV's interactive with movies already loaded? Or are there DVD players? Thank you in advance. Safe sails to all! The TV's are only interactive in the Suites above the Penthouse level but there are definitely DVD players built into the Penthouse televisions. The ship carries a small lending library of DVD's, but we prefer to bring our own. :p
computerworks Posted June 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2014 ...there are definitely DVD players built into the Penthouse televisions. We had built-in DVDs in Concierge on both the Riviera and Marina.

orchestrapal Posted July 1, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 1, 2014 Will the DVD players play region 2 DVDs (from UK and Europe) or are they only for US compatible discs? Usually they play only US DVDs unless O has installed new ones very recently.
Rare Caroldoll Posted July 5, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 5, 2014 I would see if you can bring your own, and the type you want. Their TV is lame too. No good programs.
irishwench69 Posted August 16, 2014 #11 Share Posted August 16, 2014 All staterooms have dvd players. We did bring some of our own (mainly tv boxsets), and agree the tv can be quite repetitive. However in terms of the dvds for rental on board, I thought it was quite a good selection - they had all the big award films from the past year for example, as well as some new releases, and a good range of older/classic films. Personal taste I guess... IW x
