Meta Upgrade

I booked our cruise yesterday, with my captains circle rep, and asked to marked it Meta only. He said no problem.

Does this mean that if I put in a request for a meta upgrade for our upcoming Royal cruise I can only be moved from our current inside cabin to a balcony? (since there are no ocean view cabins on the Royal)

Sounds like it since they could not move you to just a higher level inside cabin if you request just a meta upgrade.

Sorry, incorrect.

Currently booked on the Royal for July 8th, 2015. I spoke with Princess customer service last month and requested my account be tagged for "meta upgrade".

Called back a few minutes ago to verify. Spoke with a different rep. Asked what was recorded as my upgrade preference. Was told, "You're listed as Meta."

That pretty much verifies it for me . . .
