FLL Embarkation with Water/Soft Drinks

It's been a while since I have cruised and I've been doing research on this topic, but couldn't find info on whether it's allowed to take bottled water and/or soft drinks on the ship. I've seen the recent threads regarding taking alcoholic beverages but nothing recent on water/soft drinks. Is it allowed? Thanks.

Yes, no limit on soft drinks. However, suggest you bring a water bottle and fill from the tap. The ship's water is fine to drink. You can also keep the water cold in the cabin fridge, and the steward refills the ice each day.

I've seen cases of water and soft drinks taken on board in Ft. Lauderdale.

Unlike some other lines, Princess has no restriction on bring soda and/or water onto the ship. This applies at embarkation and ports along the way

I have been known to bring on a case of diet pepsi. also a few monster drinks

On at least two occasions I've purchased a case of 24 bottled waters, taped it up to secure the bottles, put a luggage tag on it, and checked it with the rest of the bags. Yes it was at Port Everglades. They made it to the cabin just fine and it was never an issue.
