I just hate that Sixthman (aka Norwegian Cruise Line) is taking one of their "good" ships and taking huge bites out of the sail dates for this. I get that it's business and it's their choice of how to run it.

I couldn't give two hoots when Carnival does this type of thing, because they are my last choice for cruises.

Thank God they don't do this crap outta New York City. We have few enough sailings/boats as it is. This would just mean fewer sailings... at least that I'd go on, because you wouldn't catch me within five miles of this type of cruise.

I'd absolutely love to do this cruise.

If only the lineups were better (e.g. the weezer cruise, coachella). Certainly beats the floating nursing home that was my first HAL cruise.

Exactly what friends of ours called HAL - a floating nursing home. LOL!

these music charters are very popular, very profitable for NCL and I bet NCL will aggresively expand both the number of charters as well as expanding the musical offerings

This will continue to attract both the non traditional cruiser and a younger demographic so NCL will continue to incorporate these music charters into their strategic business plan and fleet scheduling

Smart move on NCL's part for long term profitability
