Confused about points

I know there have been numerous posts about this but here goes. I recently did a12 night on Silouhette and was treated as select as I am Platinum on Royal. I have 38 points with them. I have also booked the April TA on Connie. I have read on these boards that early booking gets me 25 more points. If I am already select because of points from Royal how do I get to Elite? Thanks

You need to earn 300 points earned in the Celebrity program, or be at the Diamond level on RCCL. Points earned by cruising RCCL are not combinable with Celebrity points.

Depending on cabin class and length of the cruise, it can take a good many cruises to get there.:(
