cruiseluvva Posted August 22, 2014 #26 Share Posted August 22, 2014 We had hoped to do a long segment of one of these, but given my mum's health, the only way we can do one is if she is no longer here, so I can't really hope to do one at all :(

SEFlyer Posted August 22, 2014 #28 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Thanks for the info, Capnpugwash. Great to see QM2 going around the Horn and sailing to and around South America. Do you have the full QM2 itinerary you can share with us? Does QM2 return to New York from Southampton at the start of her WC. Would love to see the details. Pushka Posted August 23, 2014 #33 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Interesting that a Cunard ship is going to Kangaroo Island. It's an Island off the coast of South Australia that is classic "Australia". It will be a huge event for the Island. It will be a tender and hope for calm seas. Weather in SA in March is perfect.

There is no mention of Adelaide's Kangaroo Island nor Hobart, Tasmania but they are on the port schedules for docking in their respective locations. The above route heads to Sydney after NZ then on to Melbourne back to Sydney, then Brisbane. This doesn't match with manifest shipping schedules...
