Formal night on Caribbean Princess on 4/5 days combo

Good morning, my sister is taking the 9 day Carribean cruise which is a combined 4/5 day cruise. Is there a formal night? If so, one or two? Thanks

There should be one formal night on the 5-night segment. When we were on the Ruby Princess for 4-night cruises, they had a "dress to impress" night on each segment but not a true formal night. The 4-night cruises did not have past-passenger parties either. We got vouchers good for a free drink instead. The 5-night cruises had a formal night and a past-passenger night (Captains Circle party). The party was not on the formal night. They had the champagne waterfall event on that night.

Correct, but if booked as a single cruise for 9 days, the cruise personalizer may incorrectly say two formal evenings as that is the standard for a 9 day cruise.

 

Princess software is not set up to recognize that the 9 days is 4 days plus 5 days.
