sciteach11 Posted August 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2014 I love listening to music. With my cruise almost a year away still, I thought it'd be fun to make a psych-up playlist to listen to while I'm passing the time. What are some of your favorite cruise/ocean/tropical/vacation-themed songs? I'm thinking of things along the lines of: Drift Away Surfin' USA Margaritaville

beachbum53 Posted August 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2014 Garth Brooks - Two Pina Coladas Pink - Get the Party Started Colbie Caillat - Brighter Than the Sun the soundtrack to the movie "Cocktail" the following Kenny Chesney albums: "Life on a Rock" "No Shoes No Shirt No Problem" "Lucky Old Sun" "Be As You Are" most any Jimmy Buffet album, but my most favorite is "License to Chill" (this one ALWAYS puts me in a cruise mood) :)
websiteauthor Posted August 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 26, 2014 There is an older thread with lots of suggestions at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=247392&page=7 But maybe a new thread will spark more responses now! Manheim Steamroller has a great song "Come Home to the Sea" . . . even begins with the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. Theme from Titanic is good, but may send the wrong message LOL. Sarah Brightman has a beautiful version of this in Italian named Il Mio Cuore Va. Emile Pandolfi has a great version of My Heart Will Go On as a piano solo as well. Michael Buble does a fun Caribbean version of "Save the Last Dance For Me"
