I understand there are no formal nights on the 4 day coastal but I was wondering if they still have the captains night (with the champaign fountain set up). Is there anything else that doesn't happen on the 4 day? Pub lunch? Crab shack? Etc.

Thanks!!!

When we took 4-day cruises on the Ruby last December, they still had the champagne waterfall. They called it "dress to impress" night. A lot of folks had fun dressing up, having their photos taken, etc. Instead of the Captains Circle party, we received a voucher for a free drink that could be used at any bar.

On our 4 day west coast cruise on the Sapphire in January, there was no "Dress to Impress" night. There was a "Captain's Piazza Party" the second night. It was more of a party atmosphere rather than a formal atmosphere. Instead of strings, the dance band Tempo Quatro played and after Captain Carlton's speech there was a "Big Balloon Drop".
