has anyone gone to Mango's tropical restaurant in miami?

 

is it worth it to start the vacation off? and how did you like it?

I went there for drinks late one Sunday afternoon. They had a band on a stage in the middle. It seemed more like a bar than a restaurant but then I didn't eat.

I think I just replied to your question in another post. I used to live on South Beach and only went to Mango's with out of town guests, who really wanted to go there. I would not go there for the food, which is just average, but people like it for the entertainment factor. Just too much of a tacky tourist trap for me, but people love it.

I've only had drinks there and I've only been to the one in South Beach. There are much better Cuban places but it is fun.
