Question about booking steakhouse

We are going to cruise on Magic on Dec 7 and I plan to make a reservation for steakhouse. However, every time I clicked "submit", it directed me to an error page.

 

Is it a website problem, or is it too early to book steakhouse, or is it because I haven't paid full payment yet?

Same thing happened to me and I ended up with a confirmation email by the next day saying I had booked the steakhouse. I never called or anything. Give it a day and see if it shows up.

It took over a week for me to get a response after making reservations for December but they did respond. I'm looking forward to it!!

You might want to try a different browser. Some Carnival pages work good on Chrome, others on Firefox and some only on Internet Explorer. Its like the programmers weren't all on the same page during designing! :D

I had the same issue when trying to work from my iPad (Safari) but it worked from my laptop (IE).

 

However, when I did get the reservation go through, the message was that I wouldn't get a confirmation until I got on the ship.

 

Perhaps a change in process?

Funny this question was asked. I just ....for the FIRST time....booked the steakhouse reservation "on line" this morning at 8am.....JUST got an email verification and approval from the steakhouse.

We always go to the steakhouse one night. We book the first day of the cruise and have never had trouble getting our preferred night or time.

Yes, but there's no guarantee you will get the first night, they try for what you ask for, but don't guarantee it and will book you the closest time/day they have available.

I've never seen the steakhouse full much less sold out but I hear it happens on occasion. The complimentary wine is on nights one and two.
