Hi all, just wondering if any fellow Princess Cruisers know the cost of a Princess Transfer from Melbourne Airport to Station Pier?

Looks like the Princess transfer will cost less than a taxi

There also the option of the Sky Bus and then getting on the 109 tram at the corner of Collin and Spencer Street.

Just following up on what Sarah said....that would be my alternative recommendation as well.

 

The Skybus drops you at Southern Cross Railway Station, which is situated on the corner of Spencer and Collins Streets. Here you walk across the road to Collins Street and catch the 109 tram to the pier in Port Melbourne.

 

Costs.....The skybus costs $18 per person and the cost of a tram ticket will be about $3-4. If the transfer is $29 as Anne said, for the sake of another $7-8, I would do the Princess transfer. Saves you waiting for the Skybus and then walking to the tram.

When I do my Tester Cruise, depending on my interstate flight to Melbourne, this may be an option for me. THANK YOU!

 

Should I estimate a similar amount for the transfer to Sydney Airport please?

 

I'm learning such lots of useful information. Once I actually pay my Cruise Deposit, I shall organise my Countdown here on the Forum. Current planned date for payment is January 24, 2015 which is 1 calendar week short of 15 months before I board the Golden Princess for a 2 night cruise Melbourne-Sydney.
