ncklhaus Posted September 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Did anyone else watch Dancing With The Stars opening number last night? They used a song that had a remarkable similarity to the NCL "Let's Go" song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3swL46gz0k
cruisecritiquer Posted September 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Don't know if it's stolen but NCL's is better. I have the ring tone and every time my phone rings it's :D. Hmmm...it does result in a lot of missed calls though. Edited September 16, 2014 by cruisecritiquer

ncklhaus Posted September 16, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted September 16, 2014 This clip really shows how similar the songs are. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=+dwts+season+19+opening+song&FORM=VIRE1#view=detail&mid=6D89ACEA9999F94F40DD6D89ACEA9999F94F40DD
sjbdtz Posted September 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2014 The only similarity between the two songs is that they both contain lyrics saying "Let's Go". One is melodic and Caribbean in flavour, and the other is high-energy dance music. Different tunes, music styles, lyrics.... one isn't even reminiscent of the other, but for part of the refrain. This one is "Let's Go!", whereas NCL's is "Come on, let's go". SMH .
candydane Posted September 16, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I think NCL would LOVE IT if Dancing With Stars played NCL's "Let's Go" song. I doubt NCL would think the song had been stolen. Free advertising on a major national TV show! :D

LrgPizza Posted September 16, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I thought that NCL tried to copy the Calvin Harris hit "Let's Go" only not as good.
