RollieUK Posted September 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) This TripAdvisor page gives suggestions of where to shop. By the way to save any confusion here, what we call a purse is where you keep your money - what you would call a wallet. What you call a purse we call a handbag. This is what we call a purse Edited September 25, 2014 by RollieUK

LondonTowner Posted September 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2014 The photo is a purse, but a wallet is generally what a man carries to keep his bank notes in and folds together. A bag is a handbag or any kind of bag large or small.
Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted October 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2014 I thought the El Corte Inglés on the Placa Catalunya a good place to shop. It is on both HOHO routes. We found this department stores in several ports. Also, we found a public bathroom here. . . . always a plus. :D
daisy-mae Posted October 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 4, 2014 I'm not sure about outlets as such, but you can find handbags in a number of shops. If you are looking for genuine "Made in Spain" leather bags, there is a lovely selection at the El Corte Ingles department store in Catalunya Square, but not at "outlet" prices. The Las Arenas shopping mall in Placa Espanya has a number of stores, including a small shop on the ground floor that sells leather handbags, wallets and change purses; it has a decent selection and the prices are reasonable. By far the best city that I found for handbag shopping on our recent cruise was Venice -- lots of selection and stiff competition; I held off buying more only because I thought the prices might be better elsewhere in Italy, but in retrospect I wish I had made one or two more purchases there. Happy shopping!
