lance32 Posted October 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2014 Hello, If price drops after final payment do we get obc? Or refund Thanks Jon P
jelayne Posted October 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2014 No. You may be able to upgrade to a higher category cabin if you pay the difference- could be just a few dollars but no OBC or refund. Our first Celebrity cruise we upgraded from a standard veranda to Aqua for $100 total, well worth it in our opinion.
WestLakeGirl Posted October 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2014 But be sure you understand the possible effect this might have on any booking perks you might have
hulamoon Posted October 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2014 Be prepared. Often it is hit or miss to know if a lower rate is a special. If you got no Obc or 123 or other funny named package you are in luck. If you didn't most likely you will need to upgrade in standard rate or give those things up. Sometimes it works out best to give them up and sometimes not. If you have a drink package, have an idea of what it's value is to you. We go with 30pp as we do not drink much. But it could go much higher. Best of luck and enjoy your cruise.

vkb2751 Posted October 1, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2014 We want to upgrade from balcony to Concierge after final payment for $100 pp. Celebrity told TA that we would loose deposit and OBC from Open Passage if we want to upgrade after final payment as open passage does not apply. Open Passage is from Feb 2013 before all the restrictions and changes were made. We called Captain's Club to find policy and were told policy depends on rate and promo, etc. Not sure what is the policy. CC cant tell us as we are booked with TA. Has anyone had this issue? Thank you. Meenu
