Halloween onboard ship

This will be our first Halloween onboard. :eek::eek: We'll be in Puerta Villarta during the day. Will someone let me know what to expect onboard? We'll be on the Star.

Some passengers and crew will dress up in the evening. There will likely be a dance party or Hallowe'en costume parade in one of the lounges. Decorations will be put up around the ship.

The dining room staff and the cruise staff have been in costume past years.

A nice Halloween display in the Atrium. A number of passengers bring costumes and wear them during the evening.

Last year on the Royal a few wore their costumes all day and others wore them to dinner. The costume ball was a blast with some really great costumes. Have fun.

Lots of costumes (bring yours!), treats, decorations, and they hide some things throughout the ship. Sometimes a costume contest and a Thriller dance party.

Oh the kids club does some stuff too.

We're on your same cruise and chose it specifically because it would be a Halloween cruise. My husband is still a kid at heart and loves the atmosphere and fun of Halloween parties. We haven't decided on a costume yet but will come up with something that won't require much space in the suitcase.
