It's a question that comes up all the time, and I thought it'd be nice if there were a thread that people could post to and refer back to when questions come up about Guarantee Cabin Assignments.

 

My hope for the thread would just be a list of facts in the format:

Cabin Assigned: (or deck and cabin type if you don't want to share cabin numbers)

Date Assigned: (i.e. 3 weeks after booking.... 1 week before saildate.... at the dock)

i originally booked a 4J cabin on early saver. I later upgraded to a balcony for $400 more during the Halloween sale. We received our cabin assignment 22 days out, We were assIgnee a balcony cabin on the Lido Seck! Very excited!

Felt like a long wait! Lol. Glad to be assigned. happy with location.

Just received our cabin assignment today. It looks like a great location! Can't wait!:D

 

So happy for you....this is one of their Juinor suites with a tiny veranda,,not super private but these are wonderful extra room little suites with more light and a narrow Veranda for 2..a big upgrade from inside guarantee!!!

 

I love the Fantasy class and my trip with them was Paradise..happy cruising,,some are obstructed by the boats but these are unique fun cabins...with the better stewards etc,,,Have a blast.

No upgrade here but very happy I booked 2 GTD Balcony rooms and they were assigned next door to each other.

Loved it!

We haven't sailed yet, but I'm pleased with this so far!

Received: 4E (Empress Deck) right next to each other! Literally right next door.

 

SUPER EXCITED! Never been let down by guarantee.

Has anyone been in a balcony room with a deck above it that hangs out further than the deck you're one? Ours has the Lido buffet right above it and exterior shots of the ship look like we'll be shielded from potential sun/rain; more than a typical balcony overhang.

We had originally chosen our cabin, along with 3 other couples, all next to each other. Changed to guarantee on cyber-Monday, saving $500 per couple. Rooms we chose were same deck (7), same area, just on the other side of the ship. Rooms assigned are all next to each other. First time we have booked guarantee. We are very pleased with our cabins (and our $500 savings for basically the same cabin we originally chose)!!
