I'm pretty pleased with their assignment. We are under the lido deck, but where it is, I think that it should be ok. It would have cost us $300 more if we would have selected this cabin ourselves.

Gave up Lido Balcony 8D under Early Saver for GTY Balcony with a large OBC

assignment today 12/31/2014 to Deck 6 8B balcony

 

I was disappointed at first but then it was the chance I took to get the OBC. I was hoping for somewhere on deck 7 or back on deck 9 but I can live with where Im at. I could be listening to deck chairs sliding in the morning but I guess I will settle for music and bells from the casino :)

E182 and E176; both category 6D, Empress deck aft

Very satisfied with this assignment. We prefer aft, and we prefer to be somewhat near elevators - these cabins are very close to the aft elevators. Happy to be only three doors away from each other. E176 is barely tucked under a corner of the galley, but shouldn't be a problem. Thumbs up!

It's a 4F cabin, 2 cabins forward of the stairwell in front of the front set of elevators. You have cabins above and below you on adjacent decks. It's good. ;)

So glad I found this thread, just booked our cruise for 2/14 with an OV guarantee, 39 days out... now I'll be checking every day to see when they assign our room!

We sail in 31 days and just got our cabin assignment. We booked Oct 1st for a Dec 13th cruise. We are sailing with friends and we both booked inside guarantee. They are in cabin E57 and we are in E201. Love the Emperess deck and the location is very convenient to getting to the Lido deck, right by stairs/elevators.

 

Hey! We have rm E201 for an upcoming cruise. How did that room work for you?

 

BTW: I was inside guarantee on Elation

Where do you find this info? When I'm on Carnival's site and click on my "# days till cruise" link, then "cruise details" it takes me to a broken link that says it should be fixed soon and check back in a little while. It's been like that for 3 days!
